  Schedules for admission to LL.B. Part I, Part II & Part III classes is announced by University of the Punjab.
 
  A candidate finally selected for admission to any class is required to deposit the fee and funds within the prescribed date, otherwise the admission is liable to be canceled.
 
  The copies of certificates and the photograph will not be returned even if the candidate is refused admission.

 


Applications for admission are made on the prescribed forms available with the College prospectus. Every candidate is required to satisfy the college authorities that he is seeking admission with the consent of his parent/guardian and is capable of paying the college dues as and when required. The candidates should submit the following documents with the application forms:

  • Four passport size photographs attested from the back side.

  • One copy of Character Certificate, signed by the head of the Institution last attended or a Gazetted Officer, in case the applicant graduated as a private student.

  • Three attested photocopies of Matriculation, Intermediate and Degree Examination each.

  •  Candidate's National Identity Card's photocopy, duly attested.

  • In case a student is a Graduate of a University other than the Punjab University a migration certificate, in original, will be submitted along with application form.

  • In case the student is in service, a certificate indicating that he has been permitted by the Head of the Department to join the college or that he has been or will be granted leave for the teaching session will be submitted along with the application.
     

 


The candidates are required to list in their application forms all the educational institution they have attended starting from secondary school, irrespective of the period of attendance or whether or not the work was completed. They must submit photo copies of their educational certificates and other documents.


A candidate for admission to LL.B. must hold the B.A., B.Sc, or B.Com. degree. The students who have any particular legal aptitude in this line shall be preferred. The age limit for admission in LL.B. Part -I class is 26 years. However, the Vice -Chancellor may relax age limit up to one year. This regulation will not be applicable to the part time students, who are employees of the Govt, or Semi Govt, or Autonomous Bodies, Medium of instruction and examination will be English.


Students seeking late admission due to special circumstances are to be charged with late fee provided a seat is available. A surcharge of Rs.500/- will be charged in addition to the late fee as prescribed by the University. This facility is available within the framework of admission schedule prescribed by University of the Punjab.
